The tent poles are made of 7001 space aluminum, and the total pack weight (including tent body, rainfly, poles, stakes, guylines, and footprint) is just 3.95 lbs.

Setup is a snap for one person in under 5 minutes using the 8.5mm 7001-T6 Aerospace Aluminum poles. The tent features sturdy clips to attach the inner tent easily to the poles, ensuring a quick and stable setup.

The Appalachian 2 offers excellent water protection, with double-taped seams, a strong bottom, and a groundsheet included for an extra layer of defense against wet ground.
