The redesigned awning-style vestibules can be customized to expand covered living space, providing protection from drizzle and sun. The tent also includes new storage features such as 3-D bin ‘mezzanine’ in the foot for off-the-floor storage, an oversized ceiling pocket in the head, and media pockets for clean earbud cord-routing. It also includes multiple interior loops for attaching gear lofts and accessories, as well as 8 DAC superlight aluminum J stakes and 4 awning guylines.

The tent’s new proprietary corner construction with TipLok Tent Buckle combines secure pole-tip capture, rainfly attachment and tensioning, and stake-out loop into one streamlined function. This buckle has a keyed hole to secure the pole tip during setup and a hinged design to stabilize the structure.

Furthermore, the tent is made with new ultralight nylon double rip-stop mixed denier fabric, providing extra tear strength and puncture resistance without adding weight. The pre-bent span pole and 4-way high-volume hub design increase strength, stability, and shedding of rain and snow while creating optimal living space.
